Clementine House is a boutique guesthouse in a former farm building dating from the late 18th century, situated on the banks of the Vltava River in Český Krumlov. Designed by an all-female creative team, the project creates interiors that sensitively weave together fragments of the original historic fabric with new architectural and artistic interventions. The result is a place that is intimate, comfortable, and functional. A fundamental intervention was the reconfiguration of the floor plans, designed to encourage an intuitive flow through the house while emphasizing visual sightlines and the vertical openness of the interior. Particular attention was paid to the quality of materials and the precision of craftsmanship, expressed through bespoke joinery and metalwork and selected freestanding furniture.

 

The first floor accommodates two spaceous apartments, whose layouts can be flexibly divided by custom-designed large-format sliding panels featuring original paintings by Patrik Hábl. From the entrance hall, a sculpturally formed staircase—replacing the original robust external stair structure—leads to the attic level, where three additional guest rooms are located. The ground floor is occupied by the owner's private apartment. Each guest suite maintains a direct relationship with its surroundings, offering views of the river as well as the terraces of the newly composed garden.

Butikový penzion Clementine House se nachází v objektu původně hospodářského stavení z konce 18. století, na břehu Vltavy v Českém Krumlově. Ženský tvůrčí tým dal vzniknout prostorům, které citlivě propojují fragmenty původních historických prvků s novou architektonickou a uměleckou vrstvou. Místo, které je intimní, pohodlné a funkční. Zásadní intervencí byla proměna dispozic, která podpořila intuitivní pohyb prostorem domu, s akcentem průhledových os a vertikálního otevření prostoru. V návrhu byl kladen důraz na vysokou materiálovou kvalitu i řemeslnou preciznost v podobě atypických truhlářských a zámečnických prvků a vybraného volného nábytku.

 

V prvním patře domu jsou dva prostorné apartmány, jejichž dispozici variabilně rozdělují atypická velkoformátová posuvná křídla s autorskými malbami Patrika Hábla. Ze společné haly se stoupá po skulpturálně tvarovaném schodišti - které nahradilo původní venkovní robustní schodišťovou konstrukci - do podkroví se třemi dalšími pokoji. Přízemí patří vlastnímu bytu investorky. Každý apartmán má přímý vztah k okolí, s výhledem na řeku i na terasy nově komponované zahrady.
