The design of this community center in the small Moravian town of Hrušovany
is inspired by a traditional rural settlement typology, i.e. courtyard, barn, and dooryard.
 

Two new buildings together with the existing townhall bound a central social courtyard with outdoor sportsground. In functional terms, the buildings are home to a large multipurpose hall, pub, clubrooms, and loft accommodation.
